About Me:
Hi, I'm a newish library graduate (May 2007) and work 2 part time library jobs both in academia. I feel so blessed because I get to do what I love which is helping students succeed in through helping them in the library.
Where do you see the future of librarians?
Librarianship has always been a changing profession. (One time the card catalog and typed card catalog cards were revolutionary!) Technologies may change, but we all still have a common mission which is to help our patrons find what they need. I do think it is an exciting time because there are so many avenues for collaboration! When we collaborate, great things can happen. (We share because we care) I do think libraries will change, but hopefully we can change with them and help our patrons succeed in whatever they do!
